Specification-led review
We work through impedance, operating band, length, connector interface and mechanical constraints before quoting.
At OUKETECH, we turn your connector interface, coax choice, cable length, routing envelope and test requirements into a clear SMA cable assembly build specification—from drawing review through sample approval and production planning.
Discuss Your SMA ProjectContact OUKETECHWe begin with the interface and the job the cable must do. Our team reviews the drawing, cable and connector callouts, routing conditions, quantities and acceptance requirements so your assembly has a defined path from inquiry to approved build.
We work through impedance, operating band, length, connector interface and mechanical constraints before quoting.
Align sample approval, revision control, inspection points and forecast volumes with your program needs.
Set electrical and visual acceptance checks against the approved drawing and agreed test plan. Test scope and limits are confirmed per project.

A reliable RF connection starts with a build package people can interpret consistently. OUKETECH helps engineering and sourcing teams resolve interface details early and carry approved requirements into manufacturing.
Share your drawing, BOM, sample, or target specification. We identify open items such as cable family, connector orientation, length datum, labeling, packaging and acceptance criteria.
Document the approved configuration and change points so samples, quotations and repeat orders refer to the same revision.
Consider bend radius, flexing, vibration, temperature, handling and installation access alongside RF performance.

SMA (SubMiniature version A) is a threaded coaxial RF connector interface commonly selected for compact, detachable signal connections. An SMA assembly pairs compatible connector interfaces with coaxial cable selected for the required frequency range, loss, flexibility and installation conditions.
“SMA” alone does not define a complete assembly. Confirm the connector interface and gender at each end, cable type, length, operating band, mating hardware, environment and acceptance tests. The SMA name should not be treated as proof of a specific frequency rating; ratings depend on the exact connector, cable and assembly configuration.

Connector gender and interface details must match the mating equipment. Define both ends independently in your drawing or RFQ.
Typically identified by a coupling nut with internal threads and a center pin. Verify the exact interface, pin construction and mating requirements for the equipment.
Typically identified by external threads and a center contact socket. Confirm panel or cable mounting style, body geometry and required mating clearance.
Do not rely on “male-to-female” alone: include connector series/interface, straight or right-angle orientation, mounting style and end designation. SMA and RP-SMA are different interfaces and should not be substituted without approval.
State nominal impedance, operating frequency range and any insertion-loss, return-loss or VSWR acceptance targets. Define measurement setup and reference plane where applicable.
Choose coax construction for the required loss, flexibility, shielding and environment. Specify finished length datum, bend radius, routing and strain relief.
Check connector orientation, wrench access, mating torque guidance, panel clearance, vibration and repeated-mating expectations.
Set temperature, moisture, cleaning, chemical exposure and movement conditions. These influence cable jacket, connector finish and protection choices.
Agree visual/workmanship criteria, electrical tests, sampling, records and any first-article approval before release.
Use a revision-controlled drawing and BOM with approved substitutions documented rather than assumed.
Send the information available today. We can identify what is defined and what needs confirmation before a production quotation.
Drawing or sample, connector interfaces at both ends, cable type or performance target, finished length, quantity forecast, application environment and required delivery window.
OUKETECH reviews compatibility, open technical questions, inspection scope and any assumptions that affect the quote.
Confirm the drawing revision, sample acceptance criteria and requested records before sample build.
After configuration approval, align production quantities, packaging, labeling and change-control expectations.
An SMA assembly must fit, route and perform in the finished product. We bring mechanical details and electrical requirements into one reviewed build definition, then confirm the agreed inspection and test scope for the project.
Reliability depends on the complete design, materials, termination process, handling and operating environment. Define qualification or life-cycle testing explicitly; do not infer it from connector type alone. OUKETECH can review project requirements and confirm feasible scope during quotation.
Medical device teams often need compact RF interconnects that fit constrained enclosures and documented design workflows. OUKETECH can review the assembly requirements you provide, including interface, routing, environmental conditions, traceability expectations and agreed inspection records.
